Lucy Hembury-Gunn is fundraising for
Samaritans
Charity No. 219432

I’m aiming to raise £700 in aid of Samaritans UK who fight against suicide.
This January I’ve decided to run 60 miles to raise money for Samaritans UK.
Looking back on 2020 it has definitely been an odd one with many highs and lows for everyone.
But it has really made me come to appreciate my family and friends and recognise the extremely privileged situation I find myself in.
For others, this year has been incredibly tough: Be it months alone in isolation or having to face the persistent threats to any kind of financial security or caring for loved ones and coping with loss- 2020’s challenges are endless.
The human cost of the global pandemic has been huge with thousands losing loved ones, and even more losing jobs etc. To protect those struggling, it is crucial the support services and charities can be there to support them and in this suicide prevention is one of the many things which must be prioritised. This is why I’ve decided to do something this January to give support to those who can change people’s lives.
Please give what you can, even 50p or a few spare pounds left after Christmas will be so appreciated, anything will help!!
Also, if anyone wants to join me please get in touch!!
Thank you!!
