For my 60th birthday I'm running 60 miles for Vaccinaid to help people in poorer countries get a Covid vaccination.
Jabs for all
I feel very lucky to be coming up for my second vaccination, and like lots of us I would love to help people in poorer parts of the world get vaccinated too. Vaccinaid is a UNICEF project to make that happen - they prioritise health workers, teachers and those who would otherwise not have access to a jab.
Cool runnings
I'm also coming up to my 60th birthday and I'm a very occasional runner so I thought I'd run 60 miles - not all in one go! If you'd like to run with me, in or near Cheltenham where I live, or virtually, that would be great - I'll be starting small with 3 mile runs.
How can I help?
If you would like to sponsor me, that would be lovely. Any amount would be great. If we manage to raise £625 that will pay for 500 vaccinations, which would be a great way to celebrate my birthday!
Thank you!
Simon
