We're raising £150,000 to produce an epic historical film, preserving African heritage and empowering young creatives.
We're thrilled to introduce "The Legend of Oronsen," an epic historical film dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage of Owo Kingdom, Ondo State. Our mission is to preserve this important African story for future generations, bringing to life themes of courage, identity, resilience, and freedom.
This project goes beyond filmmaking; it encourages reflection on the wider legacy of the transatlantic slave trade and its profound impact on African communities. The film will also empower young people by creating opportunities for training, employment, and skills development within the creative industry. We hope it inspires pride in their culture and opens pathways for future talent.
By supporting "The Legend of Oronsen," you're helping us share a vital cultural narrative and invest in the next generation of creative minds. Thank you for considering backing our vision or sharing our project with your network.
