Sherborne Town Ladies 2026 Fundraising Project!

Aim

We're raising £7,000 to expand our team provision and ensuring all players have access to modern, well-equipped training facilities!

Who are we?

Sherborne Town Ladies is a volunteer run, community based women’s football club, formed in 2018. We operate on a not for profit basis, and all funds available are used to give a healthy, thriving football environment for young women and girls. We provide qualified coaching to over 150 young women and girls in Yeovil, Sherborne and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves in being able to provide safe, modern training facilities which are suitable for football at the highest level thanks to our amazing community partners.

Why we are fundraising.

Here at Sherborne Town Ladies Football Club, we're passionate about expanding opportunities for young people to get involved in football. One of our core missions is to grow our youth team and senior team provision, ensuring that all our players receive structured sessions in modern, well-equipped facilities.

Your support will be instrumental in making this vision a reality. The funds we raise will directly help us deliver these sessions for our young players, providing them with the best possible environment to develop their skills and love for the game. We believe that offering these high-quality experiences is incredibly important for their growth both on and off the pitch.

Sherborne Town Ladies FC proudly maintains a welfare fund, to ensure football is accessible to everyone in our community, and your contribution will allow this to continue.

Our coaches are the heartbeat of our club, and ensuring they are qualified and equipped sufficiently is essential for us to be able to continue to deliver brilliant sessions to our players.

How we’ll spend the money raised.

• We plan to welcome our brand new U10's team into the Dorset Girls League, giving qualified coaching to a whole new team! 
• With the increased number of players training, we will need multiple venues to provide structured sessions, with some teams training twice per week.
• All teams will have the equipment and playing kit they require to play and train. 
• We would like to up skill our coaching staff, to ensure the players receive sessions which challenge them, improve their skills and provide them with the environment in which to succeed and make friends.
• We will continue to modernise and improve our Yetminster facility, to ensure we meet ground specifications for competitive football, and give players a comfortable and enjoyable experience when using the facility.
