Space 289 is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Our venue is in an extremely difficult position with freelance staff to support, costs still to pay, and the likelihood of events happening this year extremely unlikely. We are trying to find new ways to survive through technical live stream services, but it takes time and investment.
Your donations will be used to help us support our committed freelance staff through the next few months and allow us to invest in equipment that will allow us to support ourselves through live stream services across, what is looking like, a full year with no events.
If we hit our target everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
