420 dinghy European and World Championships

Aim

Raising funds to enable my brothers and I to compete for team GBR at the 420 and RS Tera World and European Championships this summer.

2018 World and European sailing Championships

I am 18 and have been sailing with my new helm Niamh for the past year and we have had a great  season so far:

2018 Champions at the Youth Nationals and the first mixed boat to win the title.

Current 420 National Champions.

We are the top British boat selected to compete at the 2018 420 European Championships in Portugal 3rd-11th August and the 420 World Championships at Newport, Rhode Island 8th -15th August.

My younger brothers have also had a good year. Johnny , 15 did well at the Youth Championships and has been selected to sail at the 420 World Championships. Jake, 13 sails an RS Tera. He is the current World Champion in the Tera Sport and will be  competing at the Tera Worlds In Weymouth in the Pro fleet.

The RYA provides  coaching support for the events, and some pre-event training; however no help is given for boat transportation, travel and accommodation  costs which will come to £5,500 in total. I am looking for sponsorship  to help us to compete at these prestigious events. In return I  offer branding on our boat/clothing as well as  providing regular updates throughout our campaign, which starts at the  middle of July. Thank you.
