The Prize
Win 10 FREE riding lessons for you or someone you know at our fully insured and licenced riding school! Lessons are suitable for adult and child riders of all abilities aged 5 years and over. Our project has an inclusive ethos, and our excellent, friendly instructors, indoor riding arena, wonderful horses and ponies and woodland tracks are ready to make your sessions a valuable prize.
How to Enter
To enter, all you need to do is buy a £10 entry ticket between 3pm on the15th August and 3pm on the 5th September 2025. Tickets purchased outside of this date will not be entered into the prize draw.
We will keep all entrants informed of the progress of the prize draw through our social media and web site announcements. The winning ticket will be drawn through the Crowdfunder app on 6th September at 3pm, and we will contact the winner to arrange their 10 free riding lessons on our lovely school horses. The winning ticket will be valid for 12 months. You may enter as many times as you like. There is also a free postal entry option by sending your details (name and contact details) to PRIZE DRAW, Mount Ararat, Abbey Road, Hougham, Dover CT157DJ.
The prize applies to group lesson bookings and is non-redeemable. Entrants’ personal details are stored and managed in line with our privacy policy which can be viewed at our bookings site, alkham-valley.ecpro.co.uk. Normal terms and conditions for riding lessons apply, as does the Rider Code of Conduct, which is also visible on our bookings site.
The Alkham Valley Community Project has a maximum rider weight limit of 86kg and all new riders are asked to step on to the scales on site before their first ride with us, to ensure that we have allocated an appropriate horse.
Entrants to the draw must be aged 18 or over and residents of Great Britain; however the lessons can be allocated to a rider aged 5 or over who is a beginner, an adult that hasn’t ridden for many years and is feeling nervous, or indeed someone who rides regularly but would like advanced lessons.
