Support Bath City Farm's 30th birthday appeal to raise £30,000 and help 1,300 people each year access therapeutic and educational services.
Welcome to Bath City Farm.
Since 1995 our charity has been looking after this beautiful farm land in Bath. We support a diverse range of people and attract visitors to experience nature, growing and over 150 animals.
The Farm provides 37-acres of green space for 70, 000 visitors each year. Through targeted projects we help over 1000 children, young people and adults with a mental health challenge or additional learning need thrive and be well.

The demand for this kind of support is growing each year and thanks to public support we have been able to continue this provision for those in need. However the Farm has needed to employ more staff and expand our infrastructure to make this work possible.
During this time we have seen our core costs rise. Increases in national insurance have effected our salary costs and rising bills for everything from animal feed and hay to materials for maintenance mean we need to secure more funding.
To help the Farm achieve this we are aiming to raise £1000 for each of the 30 years we have been doing this work, £30,000 will mean our work can continue to help more people and positively impact lives through nature.
"For 30 years the Farm has had a lasting impact on so many lives but now we face unprecedented times financially. We are fighting to keep the current provision of community services available; we need your help. If you feel able, please give generously to support the next 30 years of high impact community work at Bath City Farm." — Brendan, Farm Director
Some of the Farm programmes include:
Little Farmers is a provision for our youngest visitors rooted in crafts and play. A simple, confidence building introduction to animals and farming for both parents and children.
The Alternative Provision programme offers outdoor based learning opportunities for young people who require additional support outside of a mainstream education setting.
Roots to Health is a programme that improves the mental wellbeing of participants through horticulture, animal care or cookery. A number of adults who have taken part in this programme have moved on to paid employment with Bath City Farm and external opportunities in work or training, helping towards financial stability and independence.
The Roots to Work programme creates opportunities for those out of work to gain lasting skills in a diverse range of environments building confidence so participants can re-enter the workplace. Our Roots to Health programme is a stepping stone for Roots to Work programme. This provides training, AQA awards and soon City and Guild awards, leading participants to further training, employment and financial stability.

We hope you will join us in building the next 30 years of Bath City Farm by supporting our birthday fundraiser. Donate today and keep this vital lifeline supporting those who need it the most for another 30 years!
