Project aim
Raising money to buy cool wheels, Firefly mobility scooter & lightweight wheelchair, for a beautiful woman who wants her independence back. She suffers from Ehlers Danios Syndrome and is reliant on others to push her wheelchair, with these aids, she can leave the house independently & go shopping or visit friends.
About the project
I will be doing a 3000 mile round trip, from Dunnet Head, the most Northerly point on the mainland, not from John O'Groats, that's not the most northerly point & everyone else does that :-) to Sabarat, southern France. I will be funding the trip myself, the money raised will be used for purchasing the mobility equipment. I have bought a new tent & joined the Youth Hostel Association in case I need a roof to sleep under, given the changeable weather :-)
That is one pound for every mile, if you are kind enough to support this project I will send you a groatie buckie, a Northern Cowrie (cyraea europaea), having one of these shells is considered good luck & if you keep one in your purse, it is said that you will never run out of money. Thank You.
