BAK Foundation - The Bolton Abbey Loop 2024!

Aim

The BAK Foundation have partnered with Leeds Mind to raise funds to help combat mental health difficulties.

This year the BAK Foundation has organised the 3 Abbey cycle challenge in aid of Leeds Minds. Following on from the success of last year's 100 mile ride, we have set out to challenge ourselves again by attempting to cycle the 3 abbeys; Bolton Abbey, Fountains Abbey and Kirkstall Abbey!

We will be running two alternative routes for any cyclists who are wishing to complete charity ride. These will consist of a 30 mile route and a 50 mile route, both of which will visit at least 1 abbey.

OUR EVENT:

When? The event will take place on 17th July 2021

Where? The event will start at the BAK Foundation Head Office in Pudsey and we will head out to Bolton Abbey, Fountains Abbey and returning to Kirkstall Abbey for the last leg.

Target: £3000

Who are Leeds Mind?

The aim of Leeds Mind is to help people build on their strengths, overcome obstacles, and become more in control of their lives. Leeds Mind promotes positive mental health and wellbeing, and provides help and support to those who need it. They offer many services, including: counselling, group therapy, social support, peer support, social prescribing, employment support, suicide bereavement support, and mental health training.
