Aim
The children, women and men of Ukraine need our help and support to survive this unimaginable crisis which they face.
Dear friends and colleagues,
As you are aware, the greatest humanitarian crisis since WWII is unfolding in Ukraine. As we look on from afar, it may feel overwhelming to think ‘What can I do to help?’. Therefore, I propose a coordinated effort to fund raise for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) for Ukraine.
The DEC unites 15 member charities who specialise in humanitarian and disaster response. Your vital donation to this fund will go directly DEC and be used to reach people in urgent need in Ukraine and other border countries.
Although every form of donation is appreciated, the most efficient, direct and safest way to help the Red Cross is with online cash donations. This allows help to be given where needed, the local sourcing of items and quick transportation.
