Aim

24:1900 is a groundbreaking 24-hour online music festival - 24 time zones, 24 artists, all performing at 7pm local time over 24 hours.

Want to be a part of a unique music festival?

24:1900. A festival where 24 artists from across the globe all perform at 7pm over 24 hours!

We founded 122 Music Management (122MM) in January 2023. At the very outset, we set our stall out by detailing who we are, and what our ethos is.

Over the last three (plus) years, we have grown. As per our tagline, we have done so by thinking and doing differently. Plus, through honesty, hard work, friendliness and a little inspiration, we have built a strong reputation amongst the grassroots music network. This includes artists, labels, venues, customers and more.

Beyond our artists, and affiliates, we help the wider grassroots music community. For example, we recently set up and ran a pop-up record store, Table Turners, in London.

We see 24:1900 music festival as being the perfect vehicle for helping us to extend what we do.

24:1900 is an 24-hour online music festival designed to support independent artists from around the globe, helping them spread their music widely and sustainably. The event is entirely virtual, featuring pre-recorded 40-minute(ish) sets followed by live online chats with fans.

The inaugural edition took place on 21 December 2024.  Our objectives and goals for 24:1900 are:

1. To empower independent artists:

  • By providing a platform for exposure to a global audience
  • By creating a direct revenue stream through online merch sales
  • By addressing the financial and visibility challenges faced by independent musicians in an era where streaming and live performances no longer provide sustainable income.

2. To celebrate global talent:

  • By showcasing artists from regions often overlooked by mainstream media, ensuring that talent from areas like Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa gets equal recognition alongside acts from traditional markets.

3.  To make festival accessibility genuinely as wide as possible:

  • By offering a festival experience that is inclusive for individuals with disabilities or neurodivergence
  • By allowing audiences to enjoy the event at their own pace with sets available online for three months post-event
  • By providing a queue-free, stress-free environment that can be enjoyed from home with friends or family

4.  To offer an environmentally sustainable public festival:

  • By reducing the environmental footprint of traditional festivals by eliminating travel-related emissions and waste.

5.  To cultivate a music-centric experience:

  • By focusing on fostering genuine connections between artists and fans while celebrating the art of music itself.

By addressing key challenges in the music industry—such as accessibility, sustainability, and equitable representation—24:1900 could redefine the festival experience while empowering independent artists worldwide.

Should we secure our fundraising objectives, 122MM will be able to pay each artist a total of £500. This would cover set production costs and appearance fees. With 24 artists on board, this comes to a total of £12000.

During the planning of earlier 24:1900 festivals, some artists were understandably hesitant to engage with us due to concerns about its legitimacy. Having financial resources readily available would eliminate this barrier, allowing artists to focus on delivering their best performances without hesitation or doubt.

Artists could still generate further revenue during their sets through an online merch stall, or via something like the artist adoption certificates that we generated last year.

122MM has researched potential PR companies with experience of festival promotion. A figure of £8000 would allow us to hire a professional PR company to promote 24:1900 for a period of 5/6 weeks.

We self-finance 122MM on a tiny budget (we do not take a salary, and we have not taken any dividends). We will seek revenue from advertising and other sources.

Raising these funds would not only help us elevate 24:1900 (2026), and the artists participating at it, but it will also shine a spotlight on the incredible artists who took part in our earlier editions.

We have already demonstrated that we can run 24:1900 music festival. And do it well.

But we need you. A festival is nothing without its supporters. And with algorithms and AI making everything feel less real, we would love you to be part and parcel of what is a very human festival - some of our rewards bring you even closer to 24:1900.

With so much division being sown nationally and internationally, 24:1900 stands as a beacon for international collaboration, creativity and harmony. Please join us and make this a true music festival of the people.
