Antibiotics from the medieval medicine cabinet

You are all amazing! Thanks to your generosity, we will shortly be advertising two undergraduate summer studentships. The funding will allow us to employ one student for a five-week project, and one for a four-week project, and to cover the costs of lab consumables for both students. We decided to offer two shorter projects rather than one long one so two people get to benefit from some research experience.  We hope that the two students will overlap for at least part of their time in the lab so they can work together where this is appropriate.

If you donated £25 or more, you will receive a report (PDF by email) from the students when they have finished their project - this will probably be some time in August or September. If you donated £50 or more, you will also receive a personalised thank-you postcard through the regular mail: we hope to have these with you by the end of May.
