Aim

Raising funds for our museum & building to improve access, displays & facilities during the 200th anniversary of the Menai Suspension Bridge

The Menai Bridge Community Heritage Trust has been part of the community for 25 years and in order for us to keep going and upgrade our museum for the 21st century we need your help. As well as school workshops and student groups to whom our volunteers have provided STEM talks, we host a number of community groups as well as keeping the doors open to visitors who want to know more about the history of these amazing structures.

We are a charity and our funding goal is the development of our community-run engineering heritage museum. So that by  learning about the difficulties that Thomas Telford and Robert Stephenson encountered while building their bridges across the Menai Strait it will inspire the STEM solution finders of the future.

If we can raise £10,000, we hope to offer museum entry for free to everyone in 2026.

Any amount of money that can be donated will be ever so gratefully received as we try to keep pace with energy price increases along with our ambitious forward plan to maintain and pass on our history to the next generation.
