Over the last 14 years we’ve built one of the best independent rock festival in the UK, but sadly this year we’ve had to postpone due to COVID-19…..
We’re going to be okay because our audience is one of the finest.
Your support will keep the dream alive, so that next July we can bring back the best live music experience, in the most stunning countryside, with the most committed fans.
Please support our crowdfunding appeal.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic 2000trees has been postponed until 2021. This means that, as an independent business with no corporate backers, we have a whole year with little to no income. This crowd funder will secure the long term survival of 2000trees.
If you are able to help out then you will be a hero not just to the six of us who work all year round on the festival, but our whole team and everyone else that loves 2000trees.
For more information please read the “A BIT MORE ABOUT 2000TREES” section below.
Thanks in advance!

We're lucky enough to have some amazingly loyal fans and we need your help now more than ever.
To show our appreciation - we want to offer up a whole host of exciting rewards to anyone that helps 2000trees survive, no matter what size of donation they can afford. These rewards range from limited edition 2020 collectible merchandise & exclusive experiences to cash back credit on tickets & beer.
Merch:
Snag one of our new, exclusive & limited edition 2020 T-shirts, Hoodies or Posters. Keep your Trees collection going and support the festival at the same time.
Experiences:
Do you want to know what makes a festival tick? Well now you can find out by taking one of our festival masterclasses with organisers (& brothers) James and Rob Scarlett.
Cashback credit:
We think one of the most exciting ways to offer rewards is through money back on everything you donate. So anyone that pledges £100, £150 or £200 will get a 50% return on their "investment". For example, if you give £100 you will get £150 back!!
The cashback credit rewards will be in the form of a voucher, which you can spend on:
- Tickets to either the 2021 or 2022 festival.
- Bar credit which can be spent on site at 2000trees 2021.
- Merch credit redeemable from our online shop.
You can also split your credit between any combination of tickets, bar and merch.
The money raised will go to ensure we can keep the 2000trees dream alive, keep us independent and continue to curate the best live experience imaginable.
Thanks for reading & we look forward to partying with you in a field next year.
Love and (virtual) hugs from all at 2000trees xxx
We started 2000trees in 2007 as a direct reaction to all the monster corporate festivals. We wanted to create something smaller, more beautiful & more fun than the mega fests. We hope you agree that we pretty much smash this goal every year, with many people (ourselves included), saying it’s their favourite weekend of the year. Even after 13 years we are still a proudly independent business. We are still just 6 music-loving guys who want to put on an amazing festival and party with 10,000 like-minded individuals.
Over the years, 2000trees has grown to be an incredibly strong community, which we often refer to as our festival family, and we are lucky enough to see the same faces returning to work hard & party hard with us each and every July. This means that the survival of 2000trees is important, not just for the 6 of us and our loyal audience, but also for the hundreds (probably thousands) of people that depend on 2000trees for income every year. This includes the 130+ bands, the sound & stage crew, the food traders, the toilet & waste teams, the farmers at Upcote Farm, our press team and last but not least our legendary set up crew. We’ve missed a lot of people out here but hopefully you get the idea. All of these people and many more need 2000trees around, not just for this year, but for the long term.
In case you’ve ever wondered, the majority of UK festivals (unless they have big corporate sponsors) are small independent businesses without massive cash reserves. Most of the (relatively modest) profits come from the bars and food traders (i.e. not from ticket sales). People are often very surprised to hear that it costs well over a million pounds every year to host 2000trees Festival and a big chunk of these costs are paid well in advance of the festival. A lot of the ticket income is used straight away to pay a whole host of costs, such as staff payroll, online & press advertising, and supplier deposits etc. The majority of these are “sunk costs” which we can’t get back and what’s worse, our insurance won’t pay out on an event postponement due to Covid-19.
As we said above, if you are able to help out then you will be a hero not just to the six of us who work all year round on the festival, but our whole team and everyone else that loves Trees.
Thanks again from all of us at 2000trees xxx
