I’m supporting #May100, raising funds to support Flamingo Chicks’ award-winning work with disabled and unwell children and young people

1k a Day might not seem like the boldest aim, as sponsored events go, but for someone who can quite happily stay seated at my desk for a full day when I’m working from home (and otherwise driving to the office) making sure I get out and about for some exercise every day in May - little and often - is the challenge! I’m planning to mix it up with some walking, cycling, perhaps even some swimming too.

Fundraising is the motivation I need to do something I keep saying I should do more of! And what better motivation than Flamingo Chicks whose award-winning work provides opportunities for disabled children and those with illnesses to explore movement and dance? Flamingo Chicks is needed now more than ever as many of these young people are left behind the curve of Covid recovery.
