Changing a Nation 

We live in a world where everybody is searching for the cure. The cure for drug addicts, offenders, a cure for the rise in unemployment, domestic violence etc. The reason why people are so committed to finding cures is because they can see results but it is time for change, prevention is the key. 

Our team is looking for support to help us improve our educational platform for schools.

In the UK there has been a significant rise of children self harming, even as far as suicide. This has always been a part of our society but with an increase in technology children are now subject to more intense 'Cyber bullying' than ever before.

We are currently looking for support to improve our 'Computer Safety' section. This module currently covers 'Online grooming' and educates youngsters on how to protect themselves online. With your help, we will film a video with alternative endings, which looks at the issue of 'Cyber Bullying'. This video will also touch upon how children self-harm in order to cope with being bullied.

The money we raise through CrowdFunder will be used solely for the cost of production of the video and creation of additional teacher guidance and activity worksheets.

It is very difficult for a child to escape once they become a target for 'Cyber Bullying'. Therefore, it is essential that we give children the confidence to speak out as soon as possible. We also believe it is key to provide children with information on the effects of their own actions if they choose to target an individual online.

We cannot monitor our children and students every hour of the day. When busy at work or home, we want to be sure that they're safe from harm. But as children spend more time out of the sight of adults it is harder than ever to know what they are up to. With this in mind it is essential that we provide children with as much information as we can to help them stay safe as early as possible.

At 1decision we feel that more time should be allocated to encourage children to become good choice makers and safe choice takers.

Our existing library of video scenarios address topics such as peer pressure, appropriate touch and healthy relationships.  We are looking to partner with passionate people across the UK who wish to support us in keeping our nation’s children safe and healthy. By backing us, we will be able to build on our series of interactive videos and provide children with effective educational tools.

Statistics show that 80% of children born in the last century are predominantly visual learners because of the huge increase to technology. Therefore, it is essential that education provides a curriculum suited to their needs.
