Our Crowdfunder Draw Prize is a fully and professionally refurbished 1966 Bush TR132 transistor radio with 'Caroline' marked on the dial at 199 m MW. You can find us on the dial today at around 465 MW
It has been fully cleaned and has the original components. It comes with a battery and has been modified to take 3 x PP3 batteries. It can also be powered by a 9 volt DC main converter (not supplied). It even has a car aerial socket so you can use it in your classic car!

The Cause
‘Ross Revenge' is in urgent need of dry docking, where surveys and structural repairs can be carried out. Our prize draws supplement our fundraising appeal to achieve our goal of securing the future of our historic ship for generations to come. The more we can raise the more essential work we can do when the vessel is in dry dock. The former pirate radio ship 'Ross Revenge' is still regularly broadcasting at sea today and more than 1,200 visitors tour the ship each year. The vessel is an important part of both deep sea fishing and broadcasting history.
