Who We Are?

The 1887 Red Army is a fan-led group committed to bringing passion, identity, and atmosphere back to Whaddon Road.

This season, we’ve taken big steps moving us forward - building a proper home end, raising the noise, and creating something the players and fans can feel every single matchday.

But we’re not stopping there!

What This Is About

We’re launching this crowdfunder to take things to the next level for the 2026/27 season.

Our goal is simple:

Create an atmosphere and matchday experience that lifts the team and unites the entire ground.

We want Whaddon Road to be a place where:

• The noise never drops
• The stands are full of red and white colours
• Every fan feels part of something

Your support will go directly into improving both the visuals and the matchday experience:

• 🟥 Large-scale displays (tifos, surfer banners, coordinated moments)
• 🚩 New flags & banners to build a stronger identity in the stands
• 🥁 Drum upgrades & cosmetics to lead and sustain the noise
• 🎨 Materials & equipment for regular displays throughout the season
• 🏟️ Matchday atmosphere improvements to keep the energy high from start to finish
