Aim
We’re walking the length of the Leeds–Liverpool Canal to raise funds for vital renovations at Ingrow Cricket Club.
Who are we?
Ingrow Cricket Club is a proud, volunteer-run community club with a century of history at the heart of Hainworth. Since 1926, we’ve provided a place for people of all ages to enjoy cricket, make friends, and be part of something bigger than the game itself. From junior cricket to senior teams and social events, the club is a welcoming hub for players, families, and supporters alike.
Why are we crowdfunding?
In our 100th year at the ground, our facilities are in urgent need of renovation to keep the club safe, accessible, and fit for the future. Years of wear and tear mean key areas now require investment, and without support we risk limiting opportunities for current and future players.
To raise funds, members and supporters are walking the full length of the Leeds–Liverpool Canal — a huge challenge for a huge cause. Every penny raised will help protect the future of Ingrow Cricket Club for the next generation.
How we’ll spend the money raised
We’re committed to being open and transparent. Funds raised will go directly towards essential club renovations, including:
Improving and repairing clubhouse facilities
Upgrading changing rooms and toilets
Every donation, big or small, helps us take another step towards securing the club’s long-term future.
