Inspired by the growing love of cold water swimming ????‍♀️ I decided to take the jump, or perhaps ‘slow walk’ and venture in to the ocean along with the local bluetit groups...... A few dips later and a realisation that I was becoming part of a massive group of like minded women, not only did I feel emotionally part of something truly amazing but my body felt alive brilliant too!!...... and do it started! ????  
As the days went on I managed to entice my son Jago to join me, figuring the cold water would be amazing for him too....sharing my dips with him is just magical, freezing ???? but totally amazing and I feel privileged to share this with him....... and to be honest that he is well enough to take part.

Jago has cystic fibrosis - a life long degenerative condition affecting all organs, but primarily the lungs. Essentially it’s like living life breathing through a straw.

We are lucky and my sons, who both live with cystic fibrosis, at present are both physically as well as they can be...... but there are many people living in cornwall living with cf who really need our support to help them in so many ways.

So Jago and I are totally taking on this challenge in our Cozzies!!!..... (NO WETSUITs, just to clarify!!) to try to help raise some funds for people living with CF in Cornwall to help make a difference to their lives.

We would love you to contribute to our somewhat insane fundraiser, in an increasing chilly water temperature as the month goes on!!!!
I write this and shudder as I’ve looked on at others partaking in festive dips in previous years....... we are going in 12 times in DECEMBER ????????????????....... I can’t wait!!! All our swims will be recorded and shared throughout the month!
