Aim
Help me raise money for the amazing organisation Hospice UK that has supported mine and countless other families
- Hey, in mid February my mum was taken to a hospice where she spent the last week of her life cared for and nurtured by an amazing team of carers. This amazing place was a blessing that allowed the most peaceful possible ending to my mums life as she could finally relax and allow herself to be fully looked after. Hospices around the UK rely mainly of charity donations and funding with only one fifth of this funding coming from the NHS. Unfortunately one in four people are unable to gain access to hospices as they face a huge strain in bed availability and funding. Please help me to give back to the amazing people that supported my mum and my family during the most devastating time of our lives as I run to bring awareness to an often overlooked critical care system in the UK so that hospices can continue to care for other families around the UK.
