To raise money for Bowel cancer UK in celebration of Paul Squires.
The Donut 100 – Paul's Legacy Walk
In November, it will be one year since we said goodbye to the most incredible man, Paul.
The heartbreak of losing him hasn't gone away, and it never will. But neither will the love, laughter, kindness and strength that he shared so generously with everyone lucky enough to know him.
To celebrate Paul's life and honour the legacy he leaves behind, we're taking on The Donut 100 – Paul's Legacy Walk.
Over two days, on 14th and 15th November, we'll be walking almost 100 km along the Thames Path from Putney to Henley, stopping overnight at Runnymede before continuing the journey the following morning. Every step we take is in memory of Paul and in support of Bowel Cancer UK, helping to fund research, raise awareness and support families facing this devastating disease.
This isn't just a fundraising walk. It's a celebration of an extraordinary person whose kindness, humour and courage touched so many lives.
You don't have to walk the whole distance to be part of it. Join us for the full 100 km, walk a mile, tackle a lock or two, cheer us on from the sidelines, make a donation, or simply enjoy one of Paul's favourite treats, a Donut - in his honour. Every gesture, no matter how small, means the world to us.
Paul's legacy reaches far beyond those closest to him. Friends and family across the world are taking on their own challenges in his memory. Some will be walking in Tenerife, others in Cape Town, my beloved uncle is playing ten rounds of golf in South Africa, while others are cycling, running and creating their own personal tributes. Although we're spread across different countries, we're united by one remarkable man.
Bowel cancer is a cruel disease, but Paul faced every challenge with incredible bravery, dignity and determination. Even during the toughest times, he never lost his warmth, his sense of humour or his ability to put others first. He inspired everyone around him, and he continues to inspire me every single day.
I carry Paul with me in everything I do. Together with our amazing family, friends and community, we're determined to turn our grief into something positive — to raise as much money as we can, help save lives, and spare other families from experiencing the pain that bowel cancer brings.
If Paul's story touches you, we'd love for you to be part of this journey. Walk with us, support us, share our page, make a donation, or simply enjoy a donut and think of Paul. for details message Linds 07894 871545 and join the walk.
Together, we can celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.
100 km. One mile. One lock. One donut. One incredible legacy. ❤️
