Aim
100 mile walk to raise funds for the airborne soldier statue that is being erected in Colchester.
On Monday the 2nd March I will be walking 100 miles from the airborne soldier statue in Aldershot to the proposed site for the new statue in Colchester. I plan to complete this walk in 3 days, making stops in London and in Chelmsford. The planned arrival time in Colchester is set to be 1200-1300 on Wednesday the 4th March.
The reason I am choosing this charitable cause is because the parachute regiment have always been part of my life due to my dad (Des Low) serving in the regiment. I want to give back to the community that were there for my family when it was needed the most.
