Aim

In May 2025, we successfully raised £36,665 to get ourselves out of an immediate black hole.
This allowed us to downsize, restructure, and regroup, and we are eternally grateful to you all for the support and commitment to our cause.
Since then we have:
- Opened a new shop in Bradford 7 days per week
- Served approximately 100 customers per day
- Delivered free fruit and vegetables to 1000s of students twice per week through our partnership with Luminate Education
- Invested in a new EPOS system allowing us to capture customer data, commit to online deliveries, improve our stock management system and offer a Click n Collect service
- Recruit new volunteers, providing them with up to 20% discount on their grocery shopping with us
- Intercept vast quantities of surplus stock and improve what we offer in store; pet goods, household items, health & beauty products and much more.
- Collaborated with corporate volunteers; offering opportunities to give back and learn about the atrocity of surplus food.
However, this came at a huge loss for the organisation.
- We lost our fork lift – preventing us from accepting lorries of stock and moving it safely
- We lost the volume of interceptions due to lack of equipment and infrastructure
- We lost 70% of our team due to relocating
- We lost suppliers
- Our income reduced by 50%
- Our vehicle is now being used for interceptions and waste transfers, resulting in increased wear and tear, and further costs to maintain.
- Payment plans with historical creditors removing our freedom to operate
- No reserves
- We lost huge potential contracts
- No room for growth and opportunities to expand are being turned down daily.
With funding bids getting rejected, and no financial freedom to operate or acquire more stock, we’ve hit a wall and we have to make a decision.
We know we can make this work, and the future looks bright, but we must make a choice;
A CVA, or a final crowdfunder.
So here we are; one last ask

We serve hundreds daily
We have 15m reach across all our social media platforms, and 30,000 followers on LinkedIn alone
So we’re asking all of you to donate just £1 each, nothing more, nothing less.
We’ve set ourselves a two week target to reach this amount.
In the meantime:
- We will be speaking to creditors, establishing payment plans and negotiating breaks
- Speaking to suppliers to increase donations for us to raise funds from
- Expanding our reach to more customers to benefit more communities
- Collaborating with more businesses to offer volunteering days
- Continue to improve our services and support our team on the ground
If successful, we will be:
- Ultimately debt free
- Able to push forwards with expansion plans; more shops across more areas, reaching more people
- Able to increase our stock offering
- Able to invest in much needed infrastructure and equipment to improve our operations
- Support our employees and volunteers
- Able to improve our services in store and online; with improved delivery system and Click ‘n’ Collect offerings
This is our last chance to prove we can do this and make this work.
