The Kiln Rooms is an established Ceramics Studio in Peckham, London.
WE COMPRISE OF THREE OPEN ACCESS CERAMICS STUDIOS IN PECKHAM PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS AND A RANGE OF CLASSES FOR ALL ABILITIES.
Our spacious studios all have top of the range communal equipment and expert technical support. This encourages growth within a community of makers and provides the perfect setting for the development of skills and practice.
The strong sense of community also extends to a range of evening and weekend classes. There are many options available, so whether you’re a curious beginner or a trained practitioner please contact us to find out more.
Throughout the pandemic we have kept all of our classes and memberships going where possible while reducing our numbers for social distancing - by allowing users to freeze or end their contracts. This was the right thing to do, but it had an impact on our business so now we're pre-selling a range of classes for future dates in order to raise funds to make improvements to our studios and staffing, to allow us to increase numbers back to pre-covid levels in a covid responsible manner.

1 day taster Class
GIFT VOUCHERS FOR OUR TASTER SESSIONS
Our taster session vouchers are perfect for anyone interested in trying their hand at ceramics. A voucher can be purchased as a gift, or for yourself and are valid for at least one year after purchase. These take place every Sunday afternoon at our Copeland Park studio and we may introduce more dates on other days over the coming months. you'll be contacted to join a class on a date that suits you.

12 week beginners / intermediate class
People of all abilities are welcome to join. Although these courses are aimed at developing beginner’s skills, we will tailor to everyone’s capabilities. These sessions are held in the class area of The Kiln Rooms, where we like to create a comfortable, fun environment. Over the first 4-5 weeks everyone covers basic techniques such as throwing on the wheel, hand building, mould work, decorating and glazing. Dates available from June 2022
