Aim
We need help affording the costs of recording our very first album together !!
CURRLS NEED YOUR HELP!
We are looking for help to raise funds for recording a DEBUT ALBUM!! After years of grafting, playing the grassroots circuit we have reached a stage in our career where in order for us to get to the next level - we need an album to represent our sonic world.
We are currently UNSIGNED, which means in order to make an album happen, we have to chuck every single penny from show fees and merch sales and even with this put in the pot, we still need help to really make a dent on trying to make this dream a reality.
Here are some rough estimates of what it’s gunna look like for us to make this happen -
- Studio (7 days- £1400)
- Engineer (£100-£200 a day)
- Producer (£300+ a day)
- Mixing (£200+ per track)
- Mastering (£120 per track)
we are hosting a fundraiser show on Dec 4th alongside this crowdfunder to raise funds necessary to deliver a 10-12 track album.
The music industry is very much based on release cycles, having an album in the pipeline means achieving access to major festival slots and getting on those big support tours and so much more.
We’ve been grafting over the years to get our name out there - it is a TOUGH industry and it has proven more than difficult to keep getting our voices heard with little to no new music coming out because of our financial position.
