Newham Voting for Change - campaign video

Aim
We are campaigning for a change to the committee structure in the Newham referendum on the 6th May 2021.
On 6 May 2021 Newham Council will hold a referendum on how the Council should be run. Every Newham voter will get a vote on whether the Council should be run by a Directly Elected Mayor (the system we have now) or by a system of committees made up of elected councillors.
We are campaigning for a change to a Committee structure in the council.
Due to the pandemic, a lot of campaigning will have to take place online. We're therefore raising funds for a video which we can share on social media which will explain the reasons for the referendum and the benefits of the committee structure.
