We are five Musical Theatre and Arts Development students raising money for the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth. In total we are looking to raise £20,000 for the theatre to help them get through the pandemic and continue to be able to provide accessible arts for everyone. 

Throughout this second lockdown we have planned some events to keep ourselves active and hopefully entertain some people!

#40kinfancydress

4 members of our team are going to collectively run 40k in two weeks, starting on the 9th November. To make it more fun, it will be done in fancy dress! Read-a-thon

Our resident book worm Georgia is taking on a different kind of challenge! Starting on the 11th November she will be reading three books a week for four weeks. Follow the social media pages for lots of updates on what she is reading and how it is going!

Musical Theatre Bake-Off 

On the 22nd November all our team will be battling it out in the kitchen, bake-off style. Who’s cake’s will be moist enough for Paul Hollywood or decorative enough for Mary Berry? Check out both our Instagram page (@uoc_myfairlady) and Facebook (UOC’s My Fair Lady) on the day for livestreams. The vote will be in your hands, so be ready to choose wisely!

Christmas Quiz

Get prepared for December with our festive Christmas Quiz! We encourage you all to dress-up in your best Santa costume or amaze us with some cool Christmas makeup. Whatever you prefer, there will be a prize for best dressed! You can’t go wrong with an online quiz for the (hopefully) last weekend of Lockdown 2.0. Ticket information will be available shortly for this so keep an eye out!

Our fundraising will not stop here so ensure you are following us on the socials so you can stick with us right up until our performance of My Fair Lady in March 2021!
