The Cause

My Mito Mission are a Yorkshire-based national charity who raise funds and awareness for mitochondrial disease, a little known genetic illness with no treatment or cure. Mito, as it's known, can be life-limiting and debilitating. 

We aim to raise awareness of mito, support those impacted, and raise funds for research. Research into mitochondria could also have a huge impact on finding treatments and cures for many other common conditions including cancer, dementia and heart disease...
