Aim
Help us to raise money for an MK Biergarten mobile beer van in return for some awesome beer-y rewards.
The MK Biergarten is an award-winning micro pub and craft beer bottle shop located in north Milton Keynes. We sell local, national and international beer to drink in and take away and pride ourselves on our excellent beer selection and friendly atmosphere.
This year, the Biergarten has run a mobile bar at an increasing number of events in Beds, Bucks and Oxfordshire. We currently operate out of a gazebo, but this is hard on our equipment as well as the member of staff who has to run the events. We are now at a stage where we feel that a beer van would be an excellent investment and hope that our will support us with our development!
We are currently planning to purchase a second hand Ford Transit Connect (or similar), which has got enough space for three kegs, a cask and potentially a little can fridge. After a little makeover, the van would have four taps on the outside, a marquee and a pull out bar in front of the van. We are hoping to print the Biergarten logo on one side and a local beer map (designed by Cute Maps) on the other side.
Our crowdfunder campaign will hopefully be an excellent opportunity for you to reward yourself with some rare Christmas presents, either for yourself or a friend! The first rewards are available just in time for Christmas and we are hoping that the van itself will be on the road by spring 2018.
