Help us raise funds to install a Wood-Fired Oven and Mission Pizza kitchen in the heart of the Left Handed Giant’s Finzels Reach Brew-Pub

Help us raise funds to install a Mission Pizza kitchen in the heart of the Left Handed Giant’s Finzels Reach Brew-Pub.

This Summer the LHG Brewing Co are going to open their epic new brew-pub at Finzels Reach in Bristol and have invited Mission Pizza to run our very own kitchen within the brewery.

Rather than go cap in hand to a bank we thought you might like to be a part of helping us make this happen. We need to raise £22,000 at very short notice so that we can service a wood-fired Napoli pizza oven and kitchen in the heart of the brewery so that we can serve food all day, seven days a week, including takeaway. We need an industrial mixer, dough trays, serve-ware and cutlery as a minimum to take us from mobile street food to a permanent home for Mission Pizza. We need at least £22k to make this happen.

We want to build one of the best places to go for food and drink in Bristol, a real community hub for pizza and beer lovers in a spectacular location. Our first ever street food event was with The Left Handed Giant back in August 2016 and it seems fitting that we now have the once in a lifetime chance to build a pizza kitchen in their brewery (serendipity eh?)

We are vegetarian and vegan pizza-specialists and our full menu will continue to be 100% veggie with vegan alternatives available for 99% of our menu. Bristol is, after all, the official vegan capital of the world!
In return for your legendary Missionary generosity we have lots of lovely rewards for you (take a look to the right), together with our (genuinely) eternal gratitude...!

The prospect of working with the LHG and having a permanent Mission Pizza kitchen is an absolute dream come true for us and we massively thank you for supporting us and helping to make it a reality.
Cheers! We look forward to making you pizza really soon.

ABOUT US:

Mission Pizza was created by us, Jim Bishop and Sandie Tomlinson. We are both fully trained Artisan Bakers and in 2016 decided it was time for a new challenge (and to leave the 3am alarm clocks behind!) to embark on a new pizza-fuelled adventure with a kick-ass teardrop oven in tow!
As bakers we are incredibly passionate about dough and believe our sourdough pizza dough is one of the keys to our pizza success. Taking a minimum of 48 hours to mix and prove, so that it has the perfect chewyness, softness, crustiness, deliciousness and leoparding (the black spots on the crust) that proper Neapolitan pizza should have. We take much of the rest of our inspiration from New York City where we have spent a LOT of time researching and sampling pizza! We love the pizza scene over there and this has encouraged us to create similar pizzas over here - fun, different, exciting... surprising... but always delicious and hopefully making you want to come back for more. And more!
After more than two years of street food/event catering we were constantly being asked where our restaurant was and in 2018 we began looking for the right venue, so when the Left Handed Giant offered us this opportunity it truly seemed like fate. They hosted us for our very first street food event and it seems so fitting that they become our first permanent home in Bristol too - a city that, like The Big Apple, has many a good pizzeria - and we are chuffed beyond belief that we have the opportunity to join them!
