This is an urgent appeal to help alleviate the hardship of migrants and refugees this Winter. Can you donate in solidarity?
Migrants and Refugees have been some of the hardest hit by the pandemic. With another tough winter ahead, the Migrants Organise team are providing front line support to over 500 people who are facing poverty and an ever increasing hostile environment.
Many of our members are homeless, destitute or living in overcrowded accommodation. Most are already struggling with isolation and ongoing mental health issues such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, panic and anxiety.

Whilst the pandemic continues to threaten our communities, our members continue to worry about the financial crisis it has created and the increasing impact of the anti-migrant political agenda and hostile immigration system which we face.
Throughout 2021 our case workers and volunteers supported 512 people and their families in desperate situations: facing destitution, living in cramped temporary accommodation and facing the threat of deportation.
The Migrants Organise Solidarity Fund provides essential items and support to our members. All money raised is used for direct support of our members, including:
As Onome, Migrants Organise Member and panel member on our Hardship Committee explains:
“Migrants Organise has been for so many years a source of HOPE to so many migrants, asylum seekers and refugees, by offering support in times of need. When Covid hit so many members already without government support, had to rely on Migrants Organise for their basic everyday needs. The team immediately came up with an action plan to make sure every vulnerable member and their children were adequately supported.
Phones were given out to some members and mobiles topped up with credit, so they had a means of communication and were able to participate in online activities, without feeling isolated. Packages including food, fresh fruit and vegetables, toiletries, sanitary products and art and crafts sets for children, were sent out every week.
Without this vital support and help from Migrants Organise, life would have been impossible for so many migrants and their families.”
Together, we are building power to fight the hostile environment while also caring for our communities. This work could not be done without you. Donate now!
