New stretch target

We already have plans to publish this beautiful book in German, French, Spanish and Italian - and would like to add as many translations as possible.

Any money we raise over the target for the English edition will go towards publishing the translations. And all of the proceeds from all of the editions will go towards supporting the work of the Internationalist Commune of Rojava...

To publish Make Rojava Green Again in support of the Internationalist Commune of Rojava.

We're working with the Internationalist Commune of Rojava to publish this beautiful introduction to their work, social ecology and the revolution in Rojava.

You can read a draft version of the book on our Issuu site here:

https://issuu.com/dogsectionpress/docs/mrgadraft

All of the proceeds from the book (and subsequent translations) will go directly towards supporting the work of the Internationalist Commune of Rojava, but we need the help of international supporters and comrades to pay for its initial printing costs*.

Debbie Bookchin explains why this project is so important:

What is it about the social structures of Rojava that so inspires the fierce loyalty of its defenders and its people?

This book answers that question. In language that bridges the Utopian and the concrete, the poetic and the everyday, the Internationalist Commune of Rojava has produced both a vision and a manual for what a free, ecological society can look like. In these pages you will find a philosophical introduction to the idea of social ecology, a theory that argues that only when we end the hierarchical relations between human beings (men over women, young over old, one ethnicity or religion over another, etc.) will we be able to heal our relationship with the natural world.
