Sending messages of kindness and care

Aim

Help us to give messages of kindness and support to people using Lewisham Donation Hub. Some people have nothing... let's show them we care

Lewisham Donation Hub is a voluntary project set up in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. They collect and organise donations of all kinds, which they then share with those facing hardship.

People who come to them for help include:
Local people who are facing financial hardship
Veterans sleeping rough on the streets
Refugees from war-torn countries
People fleeing domestic violence
Anyone in need of support: men, women, children, and babies

Along with the practical help from Lewisham Donation Hub, we want to give people a card to let them know that Londoners care - we are with them, we want to help them, and they matter.

The cards will include a message in lots of different languages, as well as handwritten messages from our generous community who donate to the project.

Heather Victoria Design will give their time and artwork to produce the cards, and we want to raise funds to pay for the printing of the initial 1,000 cards we need (£214), followed by two further print runs once those are used.
