To provide The Cavendish Arms with the financial help it needs - so that it can continue to support aspiring artists and entertain audiences

New stretch target

If we beat our target, this will allow us to subsidise even more shows, improve equipment, and build a more solid future.

Musician Shirley-Jane Errey set up The Cavendish Arms 12 years ago with the aim of providing aspiring musicians, comedians and burlesque artists a wonderful place to perform where their friends would like to come and watch them.

A welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff has made it a much loved destination where all manner of artists have started their creative journeys.

Whether simply giving it a go, becoming seasoned amateurs or going on to launch successful careers - thousands and thousands have stood on our little stage and been clapped, cheered and whooped by appreciative, energetic and encouraging audiences.

LOCK IN YOUR LOVE FOR THE CAV

We are running out of money and still don't know when live audiences will return to watch our shows and buy a few drinks. Even when they do our costs will be high and our income will be low due to social distancing measures.

So we desperately need your help until we can stand on our own two feet again - so whether you have drunk a beer at the bar, performed on the stage, sat in the audience or hope to do something at ours in the future - then please give us a hand.

Please donate £20 or more and we will lock a little red love heart with your name on it to our gate. If we raise enough money then hopefully one day soon that gate will swing open to the sound of thousands of jangling locks and love hearts- as we invite the next generation of aspiring artists in to perform at ours.
