OUR TIME IS NOW…

**Please note: This is an over 18's only event**

Lindisfarne Festival is a small festival on a BIG mission! A mission to create and sustain the most incredible yet affordable music, arts & wellness festival in the whole of the UK! A mission to bring together people from all walks of life for a weekend of pure unadulterated fun in a truly spectacular location. A mission to shine a spotlight on talent, support those in need, encourage exploration of the extraordinary and celebrate some of life’s greatest treasures: music, art, nature and above all else - people!

We all spend so much time buried in our every day lives - consumed by work and family obligations, distracted by goals and responsibilities, burdened by problems and the pressure of modern society. It's a somewhat inevitable part of adult life, but that doesn’t mean we can’t break free...

Providing a wonderful hedonistic escape from reality, Lindisfarne Festival is a place where you can shed all responsibility and revert to that care-free, childlike state of being. For one weekend of the year, forget all of your troubles, disconnect from the stresses and strains of every day life and focus on nothing but having an absolutely amazing time with the amazing people around you.

Lose yourself, find yourself - do whatever you want to do. Immerse yourself in great music and entertainment, surrounded by the best bunch of people and breath-taking scenery.

Sing, dance, learn, laugh & love! Let go of your inhibitions and live life to the max!

This is your playground. This is your chance. Don’t hold back. YOUR TIME IS NOW.

Come and end your summer on the ultimate high note and make some memories that will last a lifetime!

Why are we crowdfunding?

As a truly independent and majorly self-funded festival, we could not succeed without the ongoing and much needed support from our community. Whilst 2017's festival was without a doubt our greatest success to-date, the future of our much loved Lindisfarne Festival hangs tentatively in the balance.

To bring the festival to life, we have to invest up front in order to secure bands and suppliers etc and they certainly don't come cheap. Crowdfunding is simply a way of raising the money needed to put on the event by getting a lots of people each to pledge a small amount in exchange for rewards such as festival tickets, merchandise & other amazing perks as well as some super indulgent & corporate packages.

With 3 fantastic annual festivals now under our belt, our lovely Lindisfarne Festival is now hovering on the cusp of longevity. But in order to make absolutely sure that the festival can return to the beautiful Beal Farm and grow even stronger again in 2018, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

With no outside funding, we rely extensively on early ticket sales in order to secure our lineup and invest in the continuous development of what we whole-heartedly believe has the potential to be the best small festival in the country (if not the world!)

Whilst the rest of the country is saturated with festivals (many of which thrive), the North East has seemingly struggled for decades to develop a strong and sustainable festival presence. We believe Northumberland deserves a true festival, that the region can be proud to call it’s own: a festival that's unpretentious, affordable and fuelled by a love of music, the arts & the great outdoors.

We have an incredible location, a passionate team and the relentless determination to overcome the impossible and give Northumberland the festival it really deserves.

This is our home. This is our purpose. This is our time to do something that truly matters.

Lindisfarne Festival 2017 was nothing short of magical! Not only did we make some wonderful memories, together we also made a difference to some really great causes. We know we have something truly special here and we intend to do everything in our power to ensure the festival holds it’s place in our annual calendars for years to come. With your support we can make it happen.

What to expect in 2018...

Whilst we’re definitely keen to retain our much-loved boutique festival vibe, we do want to continuously take things up a notch in terms of the event programming, the site design and of course our lineup!

A Million Thanks...

Words cannot express how thankful we are to every single person who has supported the festival and been a part of it over the last three years.

Our goal is to create a festival in the North East that we can all call our own. A festival you are truly proud to be a part of. We are not bank rolled by mass investors, or mammoth grants. We can’t buy your love. All we can do is continue to put our heart and soul into the festival and ask for you to come with us and support us as we continue on this incredible journey - a trip that takes us to our limits so that you can have the best time possible year after year.

Thank you for your support and thank you for believing in us and trusting us to deliver. We will repay you as always with the BEST possible festival in 2018!

OUR TIME IS NOW

Much Love,
Team LF

New to this whole Crowdfunding thing? Check out our handy FAQS below:

How exactly does the crowdfunding work?

If you pledge money to us for a festival ticket or other reward, and if enough of you do the same within our 6 week time limit, we will reach our fundraising target! Hooray! At the end of our campaign (31st October) your pledges will then be debited from your account and Lindisfarne Festival 2018 will be full speed ahead and on track for it's BEST year yet. Woo hoo!

If we hit our intital target early (which we really hope to do), we'll do a little happy dance and introduce a 'stretch target'. Should we hit our target, this will enable us to do things like invest in bigger headliners (we've got our eye on some epic ones!) and/or whatever else YOU want us to invest in! We're open to your suggestions, after all this is YOUR festival :-)

What happens if I pledge but the event doesn't go ahead?

Let's be honest... after the absolutely incredible weekend we just had at Beal Farm a few short weeks ago and all of your amazingly kind words and praise for the event, the chances of us calling it a day are slim to none! Of course, in the very highly unlikely event the festival is cancelled it is our duty to refund your pledge, meaning it's a risk-free win-win for you.

We are so excited for the 2018 festival and we can not wait to start putting plans into action, booking all the very best talent and get to work in creating next year's ultimate end-of-summer party! We nailed it this year and with your support we can do so again and make it even more incredible.

SEE YOU IN 2018!
