Help Buzz Live for Lightyears

Aim

We are raising money for our two year old cocker spaniel Buzz, as he needs treatment at The Royal Veterinary Hospital in Edinburgh.

As many people know dogs are part of the family, recently our little Buzz has taken a turn for the worst and has lost a severe amount of weight. We and the vet have tried every possible treatment but our boy is now down to a tiny 9.5kgs and still losing weight fast, which you can see from the photos.

He also swells up massively throughout the day, as you can see below.

Therefore he needs to be referred to The Royal Veterinary Hospital in Edinburgh. Unfortunately our pet insurance will not cover this cost as it they are saying it is a pre-existing condition. and having researched funding from pdsa we are not eligible for this either. The cost of the treatment is in excess of £2,000. The best way to explain is that if buzz does not have this treatment he will surely die and we will lose one of our best friends. We are a hard working family but this amount of money seems completely out of reach for us, believe us when we say we do not feel comfortable about asking for help in this way but we just can't bear to lose our little boy so we ask you all, as we know many of you are animal lovers, to please help us to help Buzz. We would be very grateful if anyone could give what they can so we are able to get our Buzz back to being a healthy, happy two year old. We would use any money raised towards his treatment.
