We will always be the club that tries to make football and the wider world a little bit better.
But right now, we could use a little help ourselves. We're very proud of our ground The Dripping Pan, but it needs some work doing. And a happy home is a great place to carry on both our football and our campaigning!
Like all football clubs (and businesses) COVID-19 has taken its toll. This season´s revenues fall short of us being able to invest in some key infrastructural improvements that we need to do: floodlights, clubhouse toilet facilities, and pitch upgrades. So, we are launching our first ever crowdfunder and hope that you, our local and global fanbase, will contribute by donating and sharing this page.
If we can hit our target of £34,000, that unlocks at least a further £40,000 in grants, more than DOUBLING what you put in! That's because we can get most of these improvements 70% funded by grants.
We've got lots of excellent rewards, but you can of course simply make a donation if that's what you'd prefer. It's totally up to you.

Lewes FC is a 100% fan-owned, not-for-profit club with a democratically elected board.
In 2017, we became the first (and still only) football club in the world to treat and pay its women's and men's teams EQUALLY. We believe in playing good football and using football to do good in the world - our ongoing campaigns (to get gambling advertising out of football; to get fair prize money for the Women's FA Cup; to highlight the plight of female football fans in Iran; and many more examples) have led to us having over 1,500 individual owners in at least THIRTY countries around the world.
