'Leave On a Light' Rose Bruford Virtual Choir

Hello!

I'm a third year Actor Musician at Rose Bruford College, about to graduate into the professional performance industry... Not the best time for a global pandemic.

The theatre industry has been hit massively due to the outbreak of Covid-19, and whilst I've been locked away, I've written a song and reached out to as many of my friends and colleagues at Rose Bruford as possible, to utilise their incredible talents as part of a huge virtual choir. The final result was far bigger and more beautiful than I ever expected, and I couldn't be more grateful to everyone who got involved.

Now is the big bit though - the push! The gathering of donations, the spreading of the project to as many people who can enjoy, benefit and help all at once. And I hope that includes you, reading this right now.

I've chosen to split the donations between two charities - firstly to Acting for Others, an incredible campaign that supports performers in need (now, more than ever.) Secondly, to the wonderful and courageous NHS, without whom we would be in an even darker place than we currently stand.

So here we go. The fundraising begins! The video is live, I hope you enjoy it, I really am very proud of it. And after it ends, I hope you find your way here in order to give as generously as you're able to. Additionally, if you could assist in spreading the project to friends, family, colleagues or communities, I would be eternally grateful.

Stay safe, stay happy! We'll get through this. But now we have a bit more music in the world - no bad thing.
