We aim to build an Indoor Athletics Facility that will meet the needs of our members, athletes throughout Scotland and the local community.

Kilbarchan Amateur Athletic Club is based in the county of Renfrewshire, 12 miles south west of Glasgow. We have around 700 members aged from 7 to 80+. The Club was formed in 1924 and reformed in 1974 after a period of dissolution in the 1960s.
The club has raised £1.4m and started construction of the Indoor Facility alongside the running track at Linwood Sports Complex.

Our aim is to raise the funds required to fitout the facility with all the athletic equipment necessary for training and competition.

Over the years the club has produced an impressive list of British and Scottish champions. Our Olympians date back to 1924 when David Cummings competed in Paris and more recently in 2016 when Callum and Derek Hawkins competed in Brazil. Worth mentioning are Robert Quinn, Hayley Haining and Clare Gibson who all competed at the highest level but have all now retired from top flight athletics. Our current crop of champions include Callum Hawkins, Jemma Reekie, and Steph Twell all selected to run in this years World Athletics Championships in Doha.
Your donations will help the club fulfil its vision of providing our top athletes, and indeed those aspiring to be champions, with first class facilities that will allow them to train and compete on an equal basis with athletes from other countries.
We would love for you to invest not only in us but also the future of athletics. As a club and community we have raised enough funds to build a magnificent indoor facility but now we need your help to have it fully equipped. Donate today and let's create a better more equipped athletics future.
