Linton Lane has been at the heart of the Templehall community for over fifty years now providing support in a variety of ways. From our nurseries to our youth club to our senior citizen groups, all ages are represented here at Linton Lane. We have a variety of support groups running which provide a vital service for those in the community who are living with the effect of a stroke, head and brain trauma and alcohol and drug addiction. We also provide a mental health drop in clinic and a foodbank which operates five days a week. Our recreational classes including dance, karate, crafts and drama have been running for many years and are very popular. In short we feel we are an integral part of our local community.
At this time, like so many others, we are facing an uncertain future as our premises have had to close to all groups except our foodbank during the Covid 19 outbreak. This has led to a great deal of critical income being lost - £17,500 if we are to remain closed through the summer. With a loss like this there is a possibility that the Centre may not re-open.
Can we please ask at this time that you invest a donation into the future of Linton Lane and help ensure that we can continue working to provide an essential service for our community for many years to come.
Thank you and hopefully we will all see each other again some day soon.
