In August 2017 we are planning the Highest Concert in the World with Evelina De Lain as concert pianist and "Camden Piano Rescue" team as organiser and main tour supporter.
This will be a one day event in the Singela Pass at over 5,300 metres (16,000 ft) to set a World record, and highlight environmental concerns and practical solutions to reduce plastic waste in Himalayas.
We are intending to buy a Yamaha G3 grand piano and freight it to Leh, India. The Grand Piano will then be taken to the highest accessible by road point in the mountains. After the concert, the piano
will be gifted to a local college in Ladakh that teaches music and environmental studies along with some initial tuition and piano study books.
"Camden Piano Rescue" is famous for the original world record of sucessfully delivering a piano to an isolated Buddhist school (4,250 metres)  in 2014;  tuning the last piano in Chernobyl;  building the first recycled plastic bottle greenhouse in the Himalayas in 2016; and a number of other charity events such as the Piano to school for street children in  Mozambique in 2016.
