Aim

With all of our fundraising events cancelled, please help us to fund our wildlife hospital running costs during our busiest time of year!

The British Wildlife Rescue Centre is a dedicated wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release facility based in Staffordshire. Established in 1991 and admitting over 2,OOO wild animals each year, our mission is to provide vital and lifesaving care for all sick, injured and orphaned wildlife with the goal of rehabilitating and returning each animal back into the wild as part of an ever growing need for wildlife conservation in Great Britain.

This time of the year is always our busiest, with orphaned wildlife being brought into us on a daily basis. This year however, we are seeing an increase compared to previous years due to more people disturbing bird and mammal nests whilst gardening at home and wildlife becoming hungry because parks and other tourist hotspots have been deserted. Due to social distancing, we have been running on minimum volunteers so we are really stretched to our limits.

Our main concern during this busy time is funding the ongoing costs of our wildlife hospital. We are a small charity and receive no government support, we rely on the kindness of donations, income from school visits and a whole host of fundraising events, from dog shows to barn dances.  Every one of our events has been cancelled, which has a major financial impact on us!

We will be very grateful for your pledges to keep our wildlife hospital running during the coming weeks and months so that we can continue our vital work and get our feathered, furry and prickly patients back on their road to recovery and released back into the wild!

We really can't thank you enough for your kind and generous support!!
