We would like to thank everyone who donated towards helping our animals and farm during the first lockdown.
This awful pandemic has again put the country in lockdown and again our farm has had to close its doors.
At this time of year our feed bill alone is over £2000 a month and with no income and only 5 months of trading in the last 12 due to lockdowns we are really going to struggle to survive.
This is also the time of year when the weather gets the best of us and can cause the need for maintenance on animal pens and shelters. We would love to raise enough money to buy or build a new shed for our ducks and chickens. Our alpaca and pony shelter is also in need of new roofing to keep our animals dry through these wet months.
It would also be wonderful if we could raise enough money to buy insulation for a permanent home for our tortoises so that they do not need to be moved away from public view during the next winter.
We then hope that when the uncertainty is over and everyone is back out enjoying our animals and the countryside we will be in a position to offer some good learning opportunities and fun to communities and families that by then will be in desperate need of outside time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I wish you all well at this very difficult time.
