Help us raise funds for The Cryo-Lounge by sponsoring our 365km Birthday Challenge!
My name is Gilly Flaherty, I am a professional footballer for West Ham Women (previously of Arsenal/Chelsea & England). I am also the Owner & Director of The Cryo-Lounge based in Welling, Kent.
This is very uncomfortable for me, reaching out for help is something I particularly struggle with. But I am going to be brutally honest. I’m looking to fundraise for my business so that we are able to keep going after this lockdown period is lifted. We are a family run business with zero investors. We still have bills to pay throughout this period and my fear is that once the 3 month exempt period is over what will happen then. We have no cash flow, as due to us only being just under a year old all profits have been used to pay our bills and reinvest back into the business. We personally don’t pay ourselves a wage from the shop. As it’s the shops 1 year birthday this morning we are looking to fundraise! So from the 4th May - 4th June we are aiming as a household (me, my partner Lil & Mum/Dad) to complete 365km collectively! This can be done via running/walking or cycling.
Our Cryotherapy Centre has helped so many people since we first opened up our doors. From helping people who have been suffering in pain for years find some comfort, to people who have suffered injuries. Our Cryotherapy Centre offers people the chance to experience affordable Cryotherapy and our aim is to help people the best way we possibly can. To help give people the chance of a more comfortable and better lifestyle is the main aim for us.
I don’t want us to have to stop offering our services, and I don’t want us to not be able to open our doors again. If you can help us out by sponsoring us during our 365km birthday challenge I’d greatly appreciated it.
