Everyone in the Turkish Community knows and Loves Engin Yorganci. He is well respected and always shows respect and courtesy to everyone he associates with.
He is married to his beautiful wife Mena and together they have 2 young children. Mena has been diagnosed with a rapidly growing stage 2 cancer of the pancreas. They are currently in Istanbul and due to the Corona Outbreak, they are unable to return home for the emergency operation to be carried out by the NHS.
If the cancer reaches stage 3, she will die. Through the power of Crowdfunder we raised £47,000 for her to have her operation in Turkey. On Friday the 10th April 2020 Surgeons in Aci Badem Hospital in Turkey began the operation, however, when they opened her up, they found that the cancer had spread to all of her organs. They were unable to operate. We are desperately trying to organise an air ambulance for her to return to the UK and have her admitted into a private hospital so continue her urgent treatment. Not only are we are worried that if he gets treatment from her local NHS hospital, she could contract COVID-19 which would be catastrophic for her we have just found out that due to COVID-19 NHS Hospitals are not giving any new treatments for new patients. She has no choice but to pay for it herself, which she cant afford.
We have done extremely well to raise £47,000 though friends family and local community but now we need help on a wider platform.
