Aim
Ethiqana is raising funds for our artisans' welfare in India most of whom are facing financial hardship due to the current COVID situation.
Ethiqana is all about our artisans. Our mission is to help preserve traditional Earth friendly craft through sustainable livelihoods for artisans. We work with a number of small artisan producers in India.
As you would know, the current COVID situation is very grim in India. There is no state aid for anyone. Almost all of our artisans have had to stop working during this time. This means that they are not able to generate an income. Loss of earnings also means they are not able to access healthcare facilities.
There also seems to be no end in sight for this situation. Experts say that the infection rate has yet to hit its peak. This means that the artisans will most likely not be able to work in the coming months. This will have a huge impact on their physical and mental well being.
As a business committed to be a force for good, we are asking our supporters to join us to help these artisans.
100% of these donations will go towards the welfare of our artisans in India who are struggling with their health and livelihoods at this truly awful time.
How will this fundraiser help artisans?
