We are raising funds for our record breaking campaign in Wingerworth as we look to build on our 2nd place finish in the last election.
In the last local election Frank finished in 2nd place with more votes than Labour and the Lib Dems combined. This is even more astonishing considering this was the first time a Green Party candidate had ever stood in the County Council elections in Wingerworth.
Results like this dont happen by accident though. Frank and his team of volunteers have been working hard to deliver for the people of Wingerworth. Whether this was planting over 500 trees, fighting bad planning applications or demanding better from the council who were sending our recycling to landfill, Frank has been working hard for the people of his community.
Every other month Frank and the Green Team deliver our 'Green View' newsletter to residents homes. It is packed full of local information, highlights local issues and is a great way for Frank to keep in touch with the community. This newsletter is paid for using your donations and is delivered by volunteers like Frank. Over the last year Frank and his team have delivered tens of thousands of leaflets and even a handwritten New Year card - without your help they are simply unable to do this.
By donating to this crowdfunder today you are supporting Frank and his local green team, and therefore increasing our chances of winning at the next election. We are so close, we just have to keep up the hard work! Frank and his team are proud to volunteer their time and rely on your donations, because by doing so they are free, unlike the other parties who take money from big business and private interests, to stand up for local people. That is what local politics should be about.
Thank you for donating and for helping Frank to get one step closer to victory. We can do this but only if we work together, so thank you.
If you are unable to help us out financially but could volunteer a few hours of your time each month, please contact Frank on 07833 496912 or [email protected]
