Funding the Global Citizens’ Assembly for COP26. The first Citizens’ assembly that anyone on earth can be part of.

by Global Assembly in London, England, United Kingdom

Nigel Topping, High Level Action Champion UNFCCC, COP26: “The Global Citizens’ Assembly for COP26 will be the biggest ever process of its kind -- building new relationships between people across the world, but also between citizens and leaders. Such radical collaboration is essential to have a truly ambitious COP26.”

By donating to us you will help create the Global Citizens’ Assembly for COP26. The first citizens’ assembly that anyone on earth can be part of.

COP26 is the 26th Conference of the Parties, the UN’s most prominent climate talks.

Over the last few years citizens’ assemblies have been happening across the world demonstrating time and again that citizens are more ambitious than politicians on climate.

It’s vital therefore that citizens have a strong voice at COP26. That’s why we’re asking you to support the Global Assembly for COP26.

By supporting the Global Assembly you will be helping to create a new piece of international governance infrastructure.

If you do we’ll make sure you are recognised forever in our founding legal documents, in our publications and digital platforms.

The Global Assembly is supported by the UN, COP26 host governments (UK) and many social movements across the world.

Your support will ensure as many people as possible can participate in the core Global Assembly by paying for necessities like translation, digital access and child care; and so that the Global Assembly always puts citizens first because it’s funded by people like you.

Global Assembly is a Community Organisers Ltd (Charity Number: 1183487) supported project, all funds go through this organisation and Gift Aid is applied to your donation through them.
